Seekers New to the Siddha Yoga Path

Welcome

Everyone is welcome to attend satsang at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Chicago. The Sanskrit word satsang literally means the “company of the Truth.” On the Siddha Yoga path, Truth refers to the highest Reality, the Supreme Self. Satsang refers to seekers coming together to experience the Truth within their own being by engaging in the spiritual practices of meditation, chanting, the study of the Guru’s teachings, darshan, and dakshina.

When you come to the center for the first time, please introduce yourself to the greeter as you enter suite 207. Before each satsang, a brief orientation is offered for anyone who wants an overview of Siddha Yoga Meditation. Please arrive 20 minutes early if you wish to attend the orientation.

Dress Guidelines: To honor the sacred atmosphere, all who attend satsang and other events at the Siddha Yoga  Meditation Center in Chicago are asked to dress modestly.
